1:00 p.m. Training¶
An in-person training session will be held in FAIR practices for research software in the arts, humanities and culture domain. The training is targeted at software project owners, research software engineers (RSEs), and other digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTPs) who support computationally intensive arts, humanities, and culture research. (These will mostly be community code owners).
4-5 bitesize trainings (20 minute presentations, followed by 20 minute questions and answers) on the following topics: CodeMeta; software distribution for HPC using EESSI; useful patterns for continuous integration/continuous delivery using software forges (e.g. GitHub); introduction to EOSC EU Node; containersation for HPC with Apptainer.

Hybrid participation will be available for the morning sessions. The afternoon sessions are in-person only.
The morning programme consists of presentations, project updates, and community showcases designed to brief attendees on developments since the launch of CCP-AHC and to introduce the current state of the CCP-AHC Roadmap.
The afternoon programme consists of facilitated workshop sessions focused on reviewing, refining, and prioritising recommendations within the CCP-AHC Roadmap Open Draft. Feedback gathered during the event will inform the final revision process.

CCP-AHC: Progress, Achievements, and Next Steps

This session will provide a comprehensive update on the CCP-AHC project, including:
- An update on the growth and development of the CCP-AHC community
- Activities undertaken during 2025-2026
- Discovery and engagement of research software projects
- Emerging opportunities, challenges, and priorities
10:15 a.m. Session 1 [Hybrid] – UK Digital Research Infrastructure¶
Representatives from UK DRI facilities will provide short presentations on forthcoming infrastructure, services, and opportunities relevant to arts, humanities, and culture research. Followed by a short question-and-answer session.
11:00 a.m. Coffee Break¶
11:15 a.m. Session 2 [Hybrid] – Community Software Showcase¶
Short presentations from members of the CCP-AHC community.
Each speaker will have five minutes to introduce their workflow, pipeline, tool, or service relevant to computationally intensive arts, humanities, and culture research and cover
- The purpose and research applications of the software
- Current user base
- Infrastructure and computational requirements (including AI)
- Sustainability challenges and opportunities
- How CCP-AHC and the broader UKRI DRI ecosystem can support their future development

2:00 p.m. Working Session 4 [In-Person Only] – Updating the CCP-AHC Roadmap¶
Participants will work in small groups to review specific numbered recommendations contained within the CCP-AHC Roadmap Open Draft, which advances a plan for the community over the next 3-5 years.

3:15 p.m. Working Session 5 [In-Person Only] – Consolidation and Plenary Discussion¶
Workshop groups will report key findings, identify areas of consensus, gaps, and highlight recommendations requiring further refinement.

Presentation of the roadmap finalisation process, including how feedback from the Town Hall 2026 will be incorporated into the final version of the roadmap
